Common Ground Community Kitchen is a vegan-friendly kitchen operating in the Zion UCC Center for Spiritual Development and Healing. We offer lunch every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday beginning at 11:30am. Our focus is on fresh, sustainably-grown ingredients and we are committed to local sourcing to the greatest extent possible. We bake our own bread, make our own stocks, and know exactly what is in everything we serve.
We provide a different meal each day. Our daily menu can be found on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/commongroundkitchen/
Our meals are pay-what-you-can. We accept cash, or payment through PayPal at www.paypal.me/commongroundkitchen
We open at 11:30 a.m. We generally serve until 2:30 p.m., but because of the special nature of our preparations and our pay-what-you-can policy we sometimes run out of food before 2:30. You can check availability or ask about reserving a plate(s) at 812-204-1182. We serve in our dining room, or provide takeouts.
We’re located two blocks NW of the downtown YMCA, near the Lloyd Expressway. Parking is available at the side of the church facing the old courthouse. Enter the double doors on the side of the building and head downstairs. Feel free to browse the used books, magazines and artwork available in Linda’s Little Book Shop adjoining the dining area.
We look forward to seeing you for lunch!
